Where curiosity grows naturally

A secular, nature-inspired K-12 hybrid microschool and learning community

Rhythms of Home Learning Community was created to bridge the gap between homeschooling and traditional education by offering structured support, meaningful connection and flexible learning experiences for families seeking something in between.

    Nature-Inspired Learning

Rhythms of Home is rooted in daily rhythms, connection with nature and child-led learning. We create an environment where students feel safe, seen and valued while developing curiosity, confidence and a love of learning.

    Flexible Hybrid Schedule

Students attend in-person Monday through Thursday, with Fridays intentionally left open for at-home learning, family time, extracurricular activities, appointments or educational opportunities guided by parents. This schedule provides both structure and flexibility for families.

  • A woman and a girl sit at a desk in a school library, looking at a laptop together. The woman has blonde hair and is wearing a light gray cardigan, while the girl has curly hair and is wearing a pink t-shirt. Books and papers are on the desk, and bookshelves are in the background.

    Intentional Yearly Rhythm

We follow a six-weeks-on, one-week-off rhythm throughout the year. These intentional breaks allow time for rest, family connection, planning, enrichment opportunities and seasonal experiences while helping students and staff return refreshed and ready to learn.
